El Mariachi Tequila Bar, 3906 N. Broadway, is hosting a "Tiki Taco" event from 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
For $35, guests can eat as many tacos as they want and drink two Mount Gay Rum cocktails. Choices include:
• Wildberry Mojito: Mount Gay Silver Rum, Monin Wildberry Fruit Puree, fresh orange, mint, lime
• Raspberry Rum-arita: Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, Monin Raspberry puree, triple sec, fresh lime juice, grenadine
• Barbados Sunrise: Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum, Monin Chipotle-Pineapple Fruit Puree, fresh lime juice, homemade habanero simple syrup
The Mexican restaurant will highlight three house tacos:
• Tacos de Cochinita Pibil: pulled pork marinated in citrus achiote, served with pickled red onions, habanero salsa
• Tacos de Lomo Azado: grilled rib eye, red radishes, pickled habanero cucumbers, queso fresco, smoked red cabbage
• Tacos de Ejotes Verdes: grilled Mexican green beans, chimichurri salsa, panella cheese, molcajete salsa
