CHICAGO — Two people were wounded in a Sunday night shooting in Auburn Gresham.

The two were standing on a corner in the 7900 block of South Marshfield Avenue when someone pulled up in a gray SUV, got out and opened fire.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the back of his neck and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition stabilized. A 21-year-old man was shot in his chest and taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in stable condition, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

No one is in custody for the shooting, which appears to be gang-related, she said.
