LINCOLN PARK — The few remaining Chicagoans who haven't completed the Ice Bucket Challenge can double their donation Saturday and get a free drink on top of that.
Castaways Bar & Grill, 1603. N Lake Shore Dr., is celebrating its 15th birthday this weekend by helping raise funds for ALS.
Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants will be matching each participant's $10 donation to the ALS Association Greater Chicago.
Each donation also includes a redeemable drink and an ALS #IceBucketChallenge photo opp.
Owner Phil Stefani will be on hand to blow out the candles on the cake Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. following a singing of happy birthday.
After the formalities are over, participants and the Castaways group will take the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White and the Jesse White Tumblers will be performing at the birthday party at 2 p.m.
The party will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Castaways on North Avenue Beach.
