ANDERSONVILLE — pH Comedy Theaters' new show "Don't Pass Go!" aims to explore where seven characters stand in the game of life, with a roll of dice determining their fortunes.

The show is inspired by popular board game Monopoly, and lets an audience member roll dice each show to determine what plot, songs and dances a cast of seven interconnected characters will perform.

"One night audiences could see the poor side of the board, Baltic Avenue, and those sad purple locations; the next could be the fancy, high-class Park Place and Boardwalk," according to pH's synopsis.

Previews for the show, directed by Jason Geis with music by Brad Kemp, begin Aug. 30, with an official opening scheduled for Sept. 6 at 9:30 p.m. "Don't Pass Go!" will run through Nov. 22 at pH, 1515 W. Berwyn Ave.

The show's ensemble includes Gavin Donnellan, Jake Farrington, Jessica Herron, Lou Leonardo, Natalie Mueller, Tristan Tanner and Daniel Wright.

Tickets cost $20, with students who show a valid I.D. recieving a $5 discount.
