BRIDGEPORT — The St. Barbara Catholic Church Holy Name Society is hosting a "Classic Car Show," where dozens of hot rods, show cars and rare antique autos will be displayed.

The event takes place 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday on the parish grounds, 2859 S. Throop St. It's free to attend, but the estimated 60 or so car owners putting their prized possessions on display have paid a fee to show them off.

That money benefits the parish, organizers said.

A judge's panel will select the "Best in Show" award; attendees will vote for the "Viewer's Choice" award.
