South Shore Summer Festival Offers Free Music All Day Saturday

HYDE PARK — The Chosen Few DJs will headline the free South Shore Summer Festival on Saturday.

The festival at the South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 S. South Shore Drive, will feature free performances from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Melissa Clark, Feloney Davis, Jay “Slique” Adams and T.I. Adams and the Shore Chasers Orchestra will perform.

The evening will end with performances by house music DJs Wayne Williams and Terry Hunter starting at 6 p.m.

The South Shore Drill Team will also perform at 3:15 p.m., and a “mind, body and soul workout” will be presented at 3:45 p.m.

Pets, grills and coolers will be prohibited at the park during the festival.
