CHICAGO — Celebrate Wednesday the Chicago way: with food, music and beer outside. Don't worry, there's something for the kids, too.

1. Now That's a Tasty Burger: You hear about the burgers at Kuma's constantly, but this city has other solid options. Dunlays on the Square serves up an Angus beef burger with fries for $6 on Wednesdays. Snag a patio seat and wash it down with a John Daly cocktail — sweet tea vodka and lemonade ($7.50). It doesn't get any more summery than that. Dunlays is open 11:30 a.m.-noon Wednesdays at 3137 W. Logan Blvd.

2. Shop, Drink and Rock Out at the Zoo: Lincoln Park Zoo's event "Locally Sourced on the Patio" is happening tonight. There will be live music by Paul Kaye from the Old Town School of Folk Music, Lagunitas beer specials, locally grown produce and artists selling their wares. Admission is free. Food, drinks and art will be sold. From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the patio at Cafe Brauer, 2021 North Stockton Drive.

3. Take in Some (Free) "Sultry" Opera: Opera may seem like it's just for rich people, but you can enjoy it for free tonight in Millennium Park. The Grant Park Orchestra will be joined by singer Storm Large to perform "sultry" opera, "The Seven Deadly Sins." Free. Starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, 201 E. Randolph St.

4. Eat Falafel on Devon: The Devon Community Market is back with loads of food vendors, live music, face painting for the kids and more. This week, underground dinner club Feast & Imbibe will be there serving up smoked brisket. Yum. Free. From 4-8 p.m. in the Republic Bank parking lot, 2720 W. Devon Ave.

5. Get Crafty with the Kids: EcoArt Studio will be in Kells Park this afternoon encouraging kids to make art with natural materials and beautify the park while they're at it. Adults can get crafty too! Free. From 4-6 p.m. in Kells Park, 3201 W. Chicago Ave.
