ENGLEWOOD — Two Englewood bloggers are sponsoring a rummage sale to raise money for their lifestyle website that provides beauty, health and fashion tips to urban women.

The outdoor rummage sale, which accepts cash only, runs from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at 6707 S. Union Ave., and is sponsored by Urban Girl Essentials, which celebrated its one-year anniversary last month. Light refreshments will also be served.

All items, such as men's and women's clothing, shoes, handbags, electronics and kitchenware, will be priced at $20 or less and any leftover items will be donated to the Salvation Army in Englewood, said Rashanah Baldwin, who runs the site with Corrinn Cobb.

"You don't have to look like [model] Tyra Banks or live on the North Side to care about fashion," added Baldwin, who co-founded the Resident Association of Greater Englewood. "Some people think you cannot live in the 'hood and be fashion-conscious, but that's not true."
