PILSEN — Nitecap Coffee Bar will screen the first three "Star Wars" films and a made-for-television "Star Wars" special throughout the month of August.
The screening kicks off Friday with "Star Wars: A New Hope" (1977), the first of six in George Lucas' epic space opera series. That showing will be followed by "The Empire Strikes Back" on Aug. 8 and "Return of the Jedi" on Aug. 15. "The Ewok Adventure," which was made-for-television in 1984, will be shown on Aug. 22.
All screenings start at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free with the purchase of any item at Nitecap, 1738 W. 18th St. Handmade pizzas and popcorn will be available. Nitecap is BYOB.
