LAKEVIEW — Play an instrument? The Lakeview Orchestra might be looking for you.
The local orchestra, which focuses on classical music and community engagement, has open seats in the strings, winds and brass sections. The following are available:
• Assistant Principal 2nd Violin
• Assistant Principal Viola
• Assistant Principal Cello
• Section Violin
• Section Viola
• Section Cello
• Section Double Bass
• Associate Principal Oboe
• Principal Bassoon
• Utility Bassoon
• 2nd Trombone
• Bass Trombone
Auditions will take place from 7-9:30 p.m Aug. 26 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1218 W Addison St. Application packets must be submitted beforehand to schedule an audition.
