Things to Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town Thursday

The Limbos at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

The Limbos were originally formed in 2009 as "Stu Benedict" with only piano, vocals and drums before gradually adding two additional members and bass and trumpets. Both their albums can be found at Reckless Records. Umbra and the Volcan Siege and French Goodbye will also perform at the 21-and-over show. Tickets are $8.

Jay Pharoah at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.

After his fourth season on "Saturday Night Live," Jay Pharoah has become a premier name in comedy with his celebrity impressions that include President Barack Obama, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Stephen A. Smith and Kanye West. Tickets to the one-day special event are $30 with the minimum purchase of two food or drink items.

Mike Wheeler at Chicago B.L.U.E.S. Bar, 2519 N. Halsted St., 9:30 p.m.

Mike Wheeler takes the stage at Chicago Blues Bar, which has been voted one of the best blues bars on the North Side. Doors open at 8 p.m.
