CHICAGO — It's going to be another hot one today. And it might rain. If the heat doesn't bother you, and the rain doesn't happen, we've got outside options. Why? Because it's almost August, you guys. Summer is flying by.

1. Watch "Ghostbusters" in the Park: "Ghostbusters" plays in Smith Park tonight. Free. Movie starts at 8:30 p.m. at the park, 2526 W. Grand Ave.

2. Bowl Outside: Bowling is awesome, but in the summer you just want to be outside and soak it all up while you can. Lawn bowling can help. The Lakeside Lawn Bowling Club moves the sport outdoors, so you can roll on the "bowling greens" of Jackson Park. Free. Lawn bowling starts at 6 p.m. Tuesdays in Jackson Park, at Lake Shore Drive and 58th Street, just south of the Museum of Science and Industry. For more lawn bowling info, click here.

3. Pretend You're in New Orleans: It'll be muggy enough! The Four Star Brass Band will bring New Orleans-style sounds to Welles Park. Free. Music starts at 6:30 p.m. 2333 W. Sunnyside Ave.

4. Circus in the Park: Members of the Cirques Experience will perform acrobatic feats using a gym wheel at Wheel Jam tonight , and they'll even let you try it out. Free. Starts at 6 p.m. at Hamlin Park, 3035 N. Hoyne Ave.

5. Go Swimming: It's HOT. Go for a dip. There is likely a free pool open in your 'hood until 7 p.m. today. Check the schedules and locations here. Pools not your thing? There's always the lake.
