Hyde Park Art Center Ends Story Slams with Theme of Trauma and Grief

HYDE PARK  — The Hyde Park Art Center will host a story slam on Tuesday.

Judith Heineman will lead an evening of true stories about trauma and grief at 6 p.m. at the art center, 5020 S. Cornell Ave.

Anyone can come and tell a five-minute story on the theme. Ten people will be picked to tell their stories for the evening.

The Tuesday story slam will be the last in a series of summer story nights as part of the “The Beast” exhibition.

The event is free and open to the public.
