ARMOUR SQUARE — The Chicago White Sox have teamed up with Shedd Aquarium for a special event that turns a day at the ballpark into an educational field trip.

The "Wild About the Sox" event, which brings aquarium experts and animals, video and trivia to the U.S. Cellular Field infield, will take place before the Aug. 6 game against the Texas Rangers. The presentation is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early.

Tickets for the event won't be available at the ballpark's box office. They must be bought in advance by visiting this promotional website or by calling 312-674-1000.

First pitch for the ballgame is scheduled for 1:10 p.m.
