Green City Market, 1750 N. Clark St., 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

Check out the 10 new vendors at the outdoor market with more than 60 vendors. Wednesday's chef demonstration features Chefs Morimoto and Osaka from Japonais by Morimoto from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The market will be open from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays through Oct. 25.

Locally Sourced at Lincoln Park Zoo, 201 N. Clark St., 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Head to Cafe Brauer for live music by The Northside Southpaw, locally farmed produce, drink specials from locally brewed Lagunitas Brewing Company and work from local artists Weener Ware, Helen Tsatsos and Tina Dixon.

Vilma Palma E Vampiros at Joe's on Weed Street, 940 W. Weed St., 9 p.m.

Entertainment E presents Vilma Palma E Vampiros, an Argentinean-Spanish rock band that was formed in September 1990 in Rosario, Argentina. Disco Eterno is also scheduled to perform at the 21-and-over show. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door.
