CHICAGO — Three men were shot in separate daytime incidents on the West and South sides Wednesday, police said.

The latest shooting occurred at 4:30 p.m. in the 10600 block of South Sangamon Street, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a police spokesman.

A 25-year-old man suffered a graze wound to his head and is in stable condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

In a separate shooting at 2:20 p.m. in the 500 block of North Pine Avenue, a 41-year-old man was shot in his chest, hand and left ankle before being taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he is in stable condition, Sweeney said.

Earlier, a 23-year-old man heard shots and was hit in his left arm about 12:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Lawndale Avenue in Humboldt Park, Sweeney said.

The man is in good condition after taking himself to Norwegian American Hospital.
