From July 9-13, the annual festival will descend on Grant Park for five days of live music, food trucks and restaurant pop-ups. Admission is free, and food and beverage tickets are 12 for $8.50, up 50 cents from last year.
In all, 66 restaurants and food trucks will participate, including 22 newcomers, the mayor's office announced Thursday. Most restaurants will be at the fest every day, but 13 will create special one- and two-day pop-up shops. There will also be 17 food trucks.
New and notable vendors for 2014 include Bridgeport Pasty, Harold's Chicken, Lawrence's Fisheries, M Burger, The Savoy and Big Cheese Poutinerie.
Also new this year is "In the Kitchen with Mariano's," a partnership that will produce cooking demonstrations and a five-day Mariano's restaurant.
Musical performers including Janelle Monae, AWOLNATION, Emmylou Harris and Jeff Tweedy were announced in April.
