CHICAGO — The Lincoln Park home of late chef Charlie Trotter recently sold for $2.475 million.
The five-bedroom house was put up for sale in February, about three months after the acclaimed chef died of a stroke inside the home.
His wife, Rochelle Trotter, told DNAinfo Chicago in January that she already had moved out because she had no need for such a large space and she had plans to sell it.
The home, in the 1800 block of North Dayton Street, had been listed for $2.695 million by Natasha Motev of Koenig & Strey. The house has more than 5,200 square feet of space, according to the listing.
Motev said there were offers on the property in less than a week, and the sale closed on Friday.
