CHICAGO — The Blue Line is experiencing delays after a man was discovered walking on the tracks forcing the CTA to turn off power.

An unidentified man was discovered on the tracks between the Damen and Western stops forcing the CTA to cut power on the Blue Line at 4:59 p.m. The man walked on the tracks from the Western stop to the Damen stop, an agency spokeswoman said.

When the man reached the Damen stop, he climbed onto the platform and left the station, she said. Police were unable to locate the man, she said.

Power was returned at 5:10 p.m. The Blue Line is experiencing about a 10-minute delay, the spokeswoman said.
