HYDE PARK — The Robie House is searching for volunteers to lead tours of the historic home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Those interested in becoming docents, must attend one of two orientations before starting training to lead tours at the landmark home.

An orientation for prospective volunteers will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 8 at the Robie House, 5757 S. Woodlawn Ave., and an additional orientation is scheduled downtown at noon Friday at the Rookery Building, 209 S. LaSalle St.

After the orientation, those interested in leading tours must attend eight training sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from Feb. 11 to Feb. 27.

The Frank Lloyd Preservation Trust, which manages tours of the historic home, is also seeking tour facilitators and guest relations ambassadors.

For more information, visit flwright.org to fill out the volunteer application, or call Volunteer Resources Manager Linda Bonifas-Guzman at 312-994-4045.
