CHICAGO — Police said a man was shot in Gage Park late Tuesday morning.
About 11:55 a.m., a 27-year-old man was shot once in the back in the 2400 block of West 58th Street, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The victim was getting out of a parked car when a dark blue, four-door sedan pulled up, and two men inside began firing shots, Estrada said. The shooters fled the scene.
The victim was taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, Estrada said.
