CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was shot and killed in Roseland Sunday night, police said.
The man was shot multiple times in his head while in the 11100 block of South Vernon Avenue about 6:30 p.m., according to Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
The man was identified as Sherod Nesbitt of the 11100 block of South Longwood Drive in Morgan Park. He was pronounced dead at Roseland Hospital at 7:21 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
