LAKEVIEW — Seattle Sutton's Healthy Eating — like many diet delivery programs — is known for its TV commercials. Newly-slimmed-down men and women tout their double-digit weight loss and devotion to the program.
It's also known to cause a bit of confusion. Just who is — or what is — Seattle Sutton?
Answer: a grandma to 14 grandchildren, a "firecracker," a fan of Jack Daniel's whiskey (according to her granddaughters), and a lifelong proponent of healthy living.
Now, the 82-year-old is bringing her Marseilles, Ill.-based family business to a third generation of dieters: through her two Chicago-based granddaughters who are now full-time employees focused on marketing and communications.
