CHICAGO — A Jefferson Park infant who died Wednesday may have been neglected, officials said.

Seven-week-old Stella Sanew, of the 6000 block of North Menard Avenue, was pronounced dead at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge at 3:45 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The Department of Children and Family Services is investigating Sanew's parents for neglect, said spokesman Dave Clarkin.

Her mother and father have not been investigated by DCFS before, and two other children have been removed from the home and placed with relatives, Clarkin said.
