Grand Crossing Robberies Include One Offender Wearing Mohawk, Cops Say

GRAND CROSSING — Police are warning of a group of men, one sporting a mohawk hair style, who are roaming Grand Crossing and robbing residents.

The latest incidents took place this month in the vicinity of 63rd Street to 65th Street, Ellis Avenue to Greenwood Avenue, police said.

The group of alleged offenders have approached their victims, announced the robbery and flashed a blue and/or black handgun before making off with loot, police said. 

The offenders are described as black males, 5'2 to 5'7, weighing approximately 140 to 155 pounds.

One offender has a mohawk, while another has dreadlocks, police said.
