NORTH LAWNDALE — A man is in critical condition after being shot Friday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood, police said.
The man in his 20s was shot twice about 12:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Keeler Avenue, said Officer Joshua Purkiss, a police spokesman.
Purkiss said details were not immediately available about what may have caused the shooting or where the man was shot, citing preliminary information.
The man was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.
