CHICAGO — A teen who was shot Monday in Albany Park was pronounced dead Wednesday, authorities said.

Miguel Delaluz, 17, was sitting with an unknown female friend in a parked car in the 4900 block of North Whipple Street when shots were fired into their vehicle.

Delaluz was hit in the shoulder and head about 2:25 a.m. Monday and taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition.

He was pronounced dead at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday.

His 19-year-old friend was taken St. Francis hospital with a gunshot wound in the arm.

No one was in custody as of Wednesday, police said.
