CHICAGO — Two men were wounded in separate shootings in the Avondale and Englewood neighborhoods Wednesday night.

A 20-year-old man was shot in his arm by one of four men who were chasing him in the 6600 block of South Sangamon Street about 9 p.m., said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.

That man is in good condition, but police were unable to say which hospital he might have been taken to.

About an hour later, a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times, including in his chest, while driving in the 2900 block of North Allen Avenue, Alfaro said.

The victim drove himself to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition is "stable."

No one is in custody for either incident, Alfaro said.
