CHICAGO — Chicago Police arrested a West Side man accused of not registering as a sex offender.
Anthony Wilson, 30, of the 1200 block of North Austin Boulevard, was arrested on two warrants, police said. Cops said he was a wanted sex offender.
Chicago Police earlier Wednesday linked Wilson to an Oct. 9 break-in at an East Garfield Park home, but later said Wilson has not been charged in that case, which remains under investigation.
Wilson was allegedly on the lam for months. Chicago police said officers worked with the Great Lakes Regional Task Force to track him down. He was arrested without incident at his home, police said.
