By Erica Demarest | February 8, 2013 6:12pm

WASHINGTON PARK — Secret Service agents, Chicago police and other city personnel were setting up street barricades and preparing security measures Friday outside the church where slain teen Hadiya's Pendleton's wake and funeral will be held Saturday.

The 15-year-old King College Prep student was shot Jan. 29 in a park less than a mile from President Barack Obama's Kenwood home, and her death attracted national attention.

First lady Michelle Obama will attend the services Saturday, as will Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the mayor's office confirmed.

The wake will take place from 9-11 a.m. at Greater Harvet Baptist Church, 5141 S. State St., followed by the funeral until 2 p.m.

At least two Secret Service members were outside of the church Friday. Chicago Fire Department personnel, police and Streets and Sanitation workers were also around the area.
