Humboldt Park Woman Charged with DUI in Fatal Crash

CHICAGO — A Humboldt Park woman was charged with drunk driving after allegedly causing a crash that killed two people last week.

Delia Aguila, 27, of the 900 block of North Lawndale Avenue, faces two counts of aggravated DUI that caused death, two counts of DUI, reckless driving, no driver's license, driving without insurance, possession of alcohol in a vehicle, failure to render aid, failure to keep in lanes and failure to reduce speed, according to police.

William Brunson, 39, and Victoria Means, 34, were in the street Saturday night when Aguila allegedly struck them with her vehicle at about 10:45 p.m. in the 3800 block of West 87th Street in Ashburn, according to authorities.

Brunson and Means were both pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Aguila was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, police said.
