AUBURN GRESHAM — A South Side man is in police custody after an altercation with his 25-year-old daughter led to her death Sunday night, police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as Terika Moore of the 7800 block of South Morgan Street.

Police arrived at her building about 6:50 p.m. Sunday night and found Moore unresponsive, according to Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman.

Greer said Moore died of "blunt trauma to the head" after an altercation with her 47-year-old father. Her father was taken into custody and charges are pending, Greer said.
