CHICAGO — A tracking device on a stolen phone led police to a duo of “armed” robbers Wednesday, police.

Police found Anthony Castaneda, 17, and Rolando Ojeda, 23, in a parked car in Blue Island with victims’ credit cards, a fake handgun and the stolen cell phone, police said in a statement.

Casteneda and Ojeda allegedly approached two young men about 3:30 a.m. in the 10600 block of South Campbell Avenue in Beverly to rob them, police said.

The victims said the offenders had stuck a gun in their backs and demanded everything in their pockets, which the victims handed over, police said.

Casteneda and Ojeda, who had what police called a "replica handgun," were each charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, police said.
