68-Year-Old Man Dies After Falling Off His Bike

CHICAGO – A 68-year-old Bridgeport man died after falling off his bike Thursday, officials said.

Yuan Zeng, of the 2600 block of South Quinn Street, hit a car with his bicycle, causing him to fall onto the pavement, officials said.

The accident happened in the 700 block of West 24th Place about 10 a.m. Zeng was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

He was pronounced dead about 6:30 a.m. Friday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
