MANHATTAN — As a real estate broker specializing in luxury Upper East Side apartments, Jennifer Zucher has more than a decade of experience setting people up with the home of their dreams.

Now she hopes to match them with the loves of their lives.

Zucher parlayed her realty skills into matchmaking for hopeful singles, launching "Project Soulmate" with friend Lori Zaslow. Three years after launching that company, the two have landed a reality TV series.

The show, "Love Broker," debuts Monday at 10 p.m. on Bravo and follows the pair of Upper East Side mothers as they dish out sage advice to lovelorn New Yorkers.

"Matchmaking is actually very similar to real estate," said Zucher, who is still the principal of the Plaza Real Estate Group, a boutique commercial and residental firm.

“A lot of people come with base requirements of what they want. But it’s not until they go out and see a bunch of apartments that they realize what they really need.

"It’s the same with love. You have to date a lot and meet a lot of people.”

There are even similar “dealbreakers,” Zucher noted, such as dogs — rejected by potential landlords and some romantic partners.

Zucher also knows that pictures can be deceiving, whether in real estate or real life, which is why the duo don't dole out photos when arranging blind dates.

"At the end of the day, you have to make sure you give it a chance — whether it’s an apartment or person — to see in person," she said.

For Zucher, matchmaking “is a natural extension of my real estate career,” she said. “Both require the utmost care, attention to detail and relationship-building skills.”

And yes, after finding people apartments, some have signed up for her dating services, she said.
