INWOOD — A married couple was discovered dead inside their Inwood apartment Saturday morning, police said.
Jesus Soto, 56, and Yanet Soto, 54, of 24 Arden St., were found unconscious lying in a bed at the address with lacerations to the face, the NYPD said.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced the two dead, police added.
There have been no arrests and an investigation is ongoing, the NYPD said.
Family at the scene Saturday afternoon declined to speak about the incident.
A neighbor said the Sotos were grandparents and described them good people.
"They were very cool, very funny people. Very family-oriented,” said Alex Valdez, 33, who's lived in the building for the past 30 years.
“I saw the granddad two days ago. He was just walking," Valdez added. "Everything seemed normal.”
The city medical examiner had not determined a cause of death as of Saturday.
