WEST VILLAGE — Someone's sipping a celebratory cosmopolitan about now.

One of two Perry Street townhouses that served as a backdrop for the home of Sarah Jessica Parker's "Sex and the City" character, Carrie Bradshaw, recently sold for more than $9 million, city records show.

The 4,100-square-foot townhouse at 64 Perry St., which boasts four floors, 10 rooms and six fireplaces, was first listed by The Corcoran Group in mid-September, for $8.5 million.

The deed for the townhouse was signed on Nov. 1 by Christopher Denisulk of the Ayco Company, L.P., as city Department of Finance Records show and International Business Times first reported. It was not immediately clear whether Denisulk was the buyer or if he managed the transaction for another party.

Ayco is owned by Goldman Sachs and provides financial counseling and educational services to corporate executives and people with high net worth, according to its website

The company, which is based in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the transaction.

The "Sex and the City" protagonist kissed her dates on the steps of 64 Perry St. for the first three seasons of the show, then shooting moved one door over to 66 Perry Street, where the next three seasons of the show were filmed in front of the more ornate façade, The New York Times reported.

The Perry Street home was built in 1866.
