MANHATTAN — Charlie Sheen was greeted as a winner Friday night, but left his Radio City Music Hall show feeling like a loser.

The chain smoking, profanity-wielding actor was greeted by an initially adoring crowd. But their cheers turned quickly to jeers,   according to the New York Daily News.

While many ticket holders paid in excess of $100 for the privilege of witnessing Sheen's "Violent Torpedo of Truth" tour, the off-kilter actor took the stage over 30 minutes late, the News reported.

Would-be highlights of Sheen's hour-plus show included chain-smoking, praise for the "real f--king dude" Donald Trump, and meandering anecdotes about being rich and bedding hookers, according to the New York Post.

The erstwhile actor also ranted about his "Two and a Half Men" ousting and the infamous Plaza Hotel incident, according to the Daily News.

He did, however, take a brief time out from the profanities to speak about family, the Daily News reported.

"I love my children… yes, I do, more than I have words to speak," Sheen said, according to the Daily News. "I love my dog, Steve. I love my job. Clearly I love everything that was taken away from me."

The proceedings managed to perturb even "Real Housewives of New York" star Kelly Bensimon, no stranger to melodramatic antics herself.

"I was confused," Bensimon, seated near the front, told the Daily News. "I kind of feel unsettled."

And when the show ended — early — a group of young men in the audience yelled "F--k you, Charlie, F--k you, Charlie!" according to the New York Post.

Others broke out into fights, and one shirtless man tried to charge the stage, the Daily News reported.

"The show sucked," Mike Brancaccio, 26, told the Daily News afterwards. "I'm just glad it's over so I can get a drink that isn't crazily overpriced."

The Manhattan portion of Sheen's 20 city tour is not, however, over. He'll give a second Manhattan performance on Sunday.
