MIDTOWN EAST — The Park Avenue Tunnel will be closed Monday night for repairs to its ventilation system.
The Department of Transportation will do the maintenance work between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
To maintain traffic flow, the two lanes that run above the tunnel will remain open, the Department of Transportation said in a notice.
Electronic signs will also warn motorists of the closures and post updates, according to DOT.
Should the weather not cooperate Monday, the maintenance will be done Aug. 10, 11 or 12.
