HARLEM — A man was shot and critically wounded outside an after hours social club in Harlem early Tuesday morning, police said.
The 38-year-old victim, who police did not identify, was shot in the neck outside the Harlem Knights Variety Inc. social club at 761 St. Nicholas Ave., police said. NYPD officers responded to the scene at 2:20 a.m.
The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital where he is listed in critical condition, according to police.
No arrests have been made, but an investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
Police at the scene said that the facility has been linked to illegal gambling activity.
