MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — A disgraced former police officer already convicted of trying to bribe a teenager for oral sex is on trial again for using his badge to prey on women, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Former Officer Wilfredo Rosario used his position as a community affairs cop to lure one woman into his car, then he molested her and forced her to touch his genitals, prosecutors said.

Rosario convinced the other victim to let him into her apartment before grabbing her several times against her will, according to the charges.

"He used his policeman shield as a pretext to mask his intentions," Assistant District Attorney Artie McConnell said in his opening statement on Tuesday.

Rosario faces charges of sexual abuse, official misconduct and unlawful imprisonment.

"I know where you live. Don't tell anybody about what has happened," Rosario told one of the victims, according to testimony Tuesday morning.

Rosario was convicted in January of telling a high school student in Riverside Park that he would revoke a trespass summons in exchange for oral sex.
