MANHATTAN — The NYPD Special Operations Division is expected to stage an anti-terrorism exercise this morning at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
The 8:30 a.m. exercise was scheduled to last a couple of hours and help train Special Operations units in dealing with large-scale hostage situations.
NYPD spokesman Paul Browne told the Daily News that Lincoln Center was chosen because of its size. He went on to caution New Yorkers not to be alarmed by the police activities.
“There is no threat at Lincoln Center,” Browne told the News.
